Concert Tour in October 2013

We are very happy to announce that the 1st Prize now also includes a Concert Tour in 2013!

The tour will start with a concert on the 11th of October at the Ivana Bilic Marimba Week and end with 3 concerts with the "Bad Reichenhaller Philharmonie" Orchestra in Germany in Bad Reichenhall, Traunstein und Waldkraiburg.
In between the prize-winner will have the chance to play solo-recitals at the Universität Mozarteum Salzburg, Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien, Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität Linz, Hochschule für Musik und Theater München and Conservatoire de Strasbourg.

Following the idea of the Artistic Directors Bogdan Bacanu and Peter Sadlo that competition's prize winners should not only receive money, but should as well have the possibility to present themselves to the audience and to fellow percussionists, this tour leads the 1st prize winner to a number of exciting concerts!

All costs will be covered!
